First Bite is free on PS5 and Steam and covers about the first two hours. The publisher confirms save carryover to the full game; cross-platform transfer is not confirmed. Steam asks for 12 GB of available space, not a 12 GB download.

Based on the publisher announcement and Steam demo listing. No local installation, save-transfer test, or gameplay session was performed for this guide.

What the demo includes

First Bite includes the opening story, punching, kicking, parrying, Bite, Style Eat, Body Hack, Davy Burst, and interactions with the mall companions.

The September 22 update improved attack tracking and added a Combat Camera Assist toggle. Completed demo saves cannot dive again; the post suggests initialization to replay, but explicitly warns that this deletes all existing play data. Keep your carryover save unless you accept that loss.

Get the full game

The demo is the only free slice. The full game is $49.99 on Steam and the PS Store. Glorious Idiot Edition is $59.99 and adds the TickTock Teddies pack. Those store links are the publisher listings, not affiliate links.
